We all have heard enough and seen the desolation and mayhem it has discharged upon humanity. Now, is the right time to not panic and keep up our fighting spirit. We at Nature’s Tattva is taking all the precautionary measures prescribed by The World Health Organization.
How does this notorious virus spread? What can we do to prevent ourselves from COVID-19?
As we know there is no concrete medication or vaccine yet to kill the virus and treat COVID-19, but the best way to prevent this illness is to stay put from being exposed to this virus.
It is a communicable disease and this virus spreads from person-to-person via droplet contact which is produced when an infected person sneezes, coughs or has prolonged symptoms of cold and flu. These droplets containing the virus, if inhaled into the lungs leads to contracting this disease.
Maintain at least 1-meter (6 feet) distance from people unknown, or while traveling. Best advised; to keep limited travel itinerary only if important or unavoidable.
Avoid public gatherings or crowded places as much as possible.
Stay home if you are sick or feeling uneasy/nausea.
Cover your mouth with mask, tissues, handkerchief while sneezing or coughing.
Avoid any close contact with people who are ill/sick and exercise maintaining a safe distance between yourself and the other person.
Wash your hands often for a minimum of 20 seconds each wash.
Use of hand sanitizers is only effective when it has a minimum 60% – 70% of alcohol presence, which is efficient in killing this virus.
Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Prevention is better than cure and, in this situation, prevention must be your priority as it is ours. Here is what we are doing to ensure our safety:
